Has anyone else in the SW of WA received frost damage? :cold:

My vegetable garden was badly hit - worst I've ever seen it. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, capsicum, chillies, last remaining tomato, basil and even my cannas all blackened. :sad2:

Oh well, at least I won't have to ice the cherry tree for another month or so.

We are half way through a week of frosts. I turned on the sprinkler this morning and it stopped after a few seconds. Got it going after a little ice removal. Tomatoes are getting a little damaged but the rest of the garden is going okay. Paw Paw trees are not hit yet.

We have had freezing conditions, the birds come for a bath and skate on the surface. The bananas are hanging in there but the foliage has past it. Too cold to look any further than I have to, staying close to the heaters.

We have had some things burnt off badly here at the shop. Only one plant in the growbeds though and I can't remember what it's called, it's a flower... :) Funny because every seedling that was planted has been killed except those planted under taller plants.

Arrowroot has taken a hit and one of the Paw Paws had a few leaves outside of the frost blanket. Luffas are finally started to die off.

The flower was called a marigold, deters nematode, so it has a use in the dirt garden Joel.
