Pot saucers accumulate them, they like dark hiding spaces where it is moist and they breed. I have had them eat seedlings and plants, my solution is to collect them and feed them to the fish, silver perch lurve them Mliguard snails pellets are harmless to fish and wildlife and are one method of minimising their impact.

At the moment I will not do anything about them as they are not doing any harm.
