There are some visitors to our property that we would prefer not to have!! We get tiger snakes a plenty, like this one just outside the back door....

And then the Rainbow Lorikeets...they are so beautiful to look at, but are really causing problems to the galahs who are nesting in one of the trees. There is one in the fork of the tree and another in the branches to the right. The pair of galahs gave them a good hiding...but they keep coming back.

Ohhh nasty... :run: Your tiger snakes look a lot different to the ones down south Denmark way. Down there they are very dark with a light belly, and not much in the way of stripes at all... In fact I had wondered why they were called tiger snakes, looking at years I can see why...

Found a 2ft tiger 2 weeks ago just outside the yard....funny thing was we lifted a piece of tin and found a bobtail, I commented on the old wives tail "there won't be any snakes around"....as a piece of shade cloth was lifted only a meter away, and there he was...all angry and pissed of at the world :scared2: had to get the long handled shovel to sort him out :swing:
