Not to efficient if you crank them up they use a few pellets heres pellet cooker I built [ brisket cooked at 225 f for 24 hours nothing better]

Most home made ones Ive seen are made out of old gas bottles

Did you buy the pellet feeder or make it?
They can have thermometers attached to regulate flow and get pretty complicated.

Love the grill grates.

Ive bought a lot of stuff from misty gully, great rub products.

I prefer the gas slow cooker/smokers. Just turn it on and add smoke pellets and pre-rubbed ribs or roasts. Yum yum.
