These lettuces looked so perfect I just had to share. They're only mignonettes I got from Masters as a seedling punnet, but their shape is so pretty I'm considering edging all of my garden beds with them!

Sooo many more lettuces have been eaten, I am really loving going out right before dinner to pull them.

I have a few more pics which I will fetch from my phone once it has charged again. Chillis are looking good, pumpkins seem to be flowering prematurely though. will this stop the plant from growing??

The basil and coriander were both from seed which I'm a bit proud of. Normally I slack out and buy seedlings.
Oh and sunflowers were from seed too. Turns out my original pack was a complete dud, and I can indeed grow them!ImageImageImage

Whoops, blind eyes. This is the corianderImage

All the pics are over a week old and things are looking much bigger and bushier just one week later! Good old pond water. Aquaponics without plumbing I guess

The wood chips will probably suck a bit of nitrogen out of the soil as they break down.
Bit deliver it back log term.

Some updates.
Also, can someone tell me what caterpillar these are that seem intent on ruining ALL of my pansies. They're so bad I'm tempted to just rip them out! Better go find some dipel I guess.
