Heres the start of my strawberry tower wicking bed come hydroponic set up
A 200 litre drum with 30 slots later plant pockets [see photo ]
With a milk crate wicking setup
The difference is theres a pump to feed the plants and a float valve [to top up the nutrients]
A tip if using wine bottles to make the holes fill them with water they cool quicker
Heers the first photo making the plant pockets

Would depend where he is, from the Queensland border south they have been getting snow over 300 metres. Strong freezing winds from Antarctica. We would have had about 2c last night outside and was still 8c in my back room at 8am this morning.

Wish people would put their state and district/ town in and answers can be given which better suit. Cheers
