Of course it had to be pizza, very, very enjoyable. And a lovely way to finish the working week.
Tis now christened, the ribs were lovely aqnd so quick. Didn't take all that much wood and burnt for hours, the smell of warm pine was evident by the end of the evening, love the aromas.
See, of course there would be pictures

Naaa, we didn't burn pine, well not in the fire anyway. We put it temporarily on a pallet on top of a steel stand and the pallet started to smolder under the oven..

The oven isn't an aromatic embers, it's a BYAP oven...

You mean SHE is sweet enough......

Damn nice looking pizza... We have our stands now so hopefully we will soon have the oven up in a permanent spot where we can use it a bit more...

Terrible pics, but here is an oven on one of the new stands.

Brilliant isn't it? Self cleaning.... :)

I think the plan is to clad the frame, and go for a couple of granite slabs on either side, with wood storage underneath.

A friend of mine found that his oven was soaking up rainwater so he covered the outer shell with a soil coloured fiberglass, and reckons it has improved the thermal abilities heaps.
