Those pics were taken at about 6 months back from memory. I really lush now after recent rains. Heaps of lush weeds and heaps of lush running grasses trying to take over everything :bash:

How low do your temps get there, VB?

At my place we normally get a few frosts each year. Sub-zero temps are not unusual and the lowest I've recorded in -4. Average winter night temp though is probably more like 5.

Comfrey is great to propagate. I dug up one and turned it into 30+.

Last year I made a 15 metre border from 2 plants :-). A lot of those died in the dry of summer, but that's cool by me as I now want to move the border to in front of the lemongrass hedge and further away from my gardens. I still have about 10 or 15 plants to break up for the new border, so that will be heaps and heaps to get a nice quick border going. Would have been great if I could have got to that today as it is raining here this week and would be a great time to get them settled, but alas, I did not :bash:

Thanks Chilli - but in reality I really have nothing productive in it at the moment, so I need to really pull my finger out. I'd let the garden really go when we had no water tanks and they'd put the sever water restrictions in place. Have had the tanks installed for well over a year now (after having sat on their sides for nearly 2 :bash:

), so really no excuses now. I just seem to be so time poor these days. What I really need is a big floody so I can do work at this sort of time at night after I get home from work.

Yep, I can relate to that one very easily. Very frustrating only getting to work on my aquaponics system on the weekends - seems to be taking forever. And consumes the whole weekend.
